- UV-C is a chemical-free method of sterilization, destroying the DNA of various living particles and protecting you from water borne biological impurities. It does not affect taste, color, odor, or pH levels of the water.

- Quartz sleeves are easy to clean and replace, last a long time and require minimal maintenance. If the quartz tube becomes murky and hard to see through, it is recommended to clean or replace it for continuous disinfection.
